BirthStone Jewelry

Its been a month that I have not written here and due to holidays and start of school last September I've missed even by saying happy holidays.

Anyway I been thinking about birthstone jewelry and most but not everyone likes to wear jewelry with their birthstone. Most precious gemstones are very expensive depends on the carats and not everyone of us can afford the luxurious jewelry that we dream of and lucky to some who can buy it easily. For an alternative to have our fancy and real birthstone jewelry we can have it in the form of beads, chips, tumbled stone in their natural form like for example diamond which are availble now on the market the rough and uncut diamond beads untreated in their natural form and affordable to whom who would like to have it as jewelry.

Like me who dream that oneday I can own one but for now I'm a bit crazy in their natural untreated form.

Fashion Rings: Stackable, Skinny, Dangle, Beaded and Midi Rings

In women's jewelry accessories rings are my favorite whether it is a minimalist style or bold with statement. For the past month of last year 2013 most of my design were fashionable wire rings that are stackable and stacking look multiple ring. Coins from the Past

Just lately a friend of mine ask me to make her a coin ring, pendant, and earring contain the 10 shekels of New Israeli coin and I've told her that it is kind'a weird because of its usage for todays monetary fund and as a designer I encourage her that is it better to use antique old coins even tokens to make it more unique but its her choice of design and was very insistent that she will have new coin jewelry set.... This is the ring and pendant of the new 10 shekels israeli coin two tone coin of silver and gold color and it turns out beautiful because of its design and some friends just order more. As an alternative for the new coins I've made myself an old coins an example to my customers and they loved it as well. Photos below are my old coin ring and Lucky Winner Token pendant. Which is better??? I think they looks great depends on the taste of the wearer the most important thing is to feel and enjoyed what you wear. Cheers, Grace

Geometric

Winter time is coming and I have this awful leather jacket and leather shoes that I haven't used for years so instead of just stacking up in my closet and let time goes by I've decided to cut them to pieces in different sizes so that I can used much of them. Making something out of it makes perfect for crafting ideas. Here's mine an example: Geometrical statement necklace using the upcycled leather then painted it and viola!!! Triangular handstamp earring using the upcycled leather. And more fascinating ideas that can be made into beautiful things just from an old leather garment. Till then and be Charmed always Grace:)
