Desert Summer Vacation

It's amost two weeks that I have not log in to post something busy for shout out in facebook fan page and in etsy teams discussion thread inorder to have some more traffic SEO in my shop, making some new items for future listing, do some chores, daytime job, and all the other miscellaneous things but important to take care of.

My birthday is coming up and I needed a vacation to simply freshen up and free of pressure from everyday life. Our vcation is on next week hopefully everything is well and planned according to my iterinary things to do list because of my forgetfullness my husband always remind me to do the list. Anyway I'm already excited with our coming up family vacation this time its something different "Desert Summer Vacation". It will be hot but fun and hoping for beautiful photographic scene...in this vacation. Till next time :)

Fashion Rings: Stackable, Skinny, Dangle, Beaded and Midi Rings

In women's jewelry accessories rings are my favorite whether it is a minimalist style or bold with statement. Fused Copper Wire

One of my fears in making jewelry is the soldering technique as far as I can remember as a child I've seen my father's soldering materials and tools and how he manage to work those hot flames and I said "WOW" that's tough work. Last year i bought a micro torch just in case I have the courage to try...in my mind I tried soldering like practicing it a hundred times and there's always the word "What If" every time I hold the torch then put it back. I told my mother about the idea of soldering and she says "It will not happen until you try to make it happen". Now for the first time in soldering using a micro torch as a starter I use raw copper wire to fuse, micro torch, fire brick, goggles, and a glass of water to cool off the hot wire and I was wondering since fine silver can be fused without flux maybe copper can be fused also in the same process. After a couple of attempt to fuse copper wire finally I manage to make one bet...

Geometric

Winter time is coming and I have this awful leather jacket and leather shoes that I haven't used for years so instead of just stacking up in my closet and let time goes by I've decided to cut them to pieces in different sizes so that I can used much of them. Making something out of it makes perfect for crafting ideas. Here's mine an example: Geometrical statement necklace using the upcycled leather then painted it and viola!!! Triangular handstamp earring using the upcycled leather. And more fascinating ideas that can be made into beautiful things just from an old leather garment. Till then and be Charmed always Grace:)
