How grateful we are to the inventors of internet and to social communication network like facebook, yahoo messenger, skype and many others that even though we are thousand of miles away from our family at home still we can have our toast together, share the laughters and the tears... missing each affection physically especially the hugs and kisses but seeing each others in video and voice calls it eases our desire and yearnings. Just lately a friend of mine ask me to make her a coin ring, pendant, and earring contain the 10 shekels of New Israeli coin and I've told her that it is kind'a weird because of its usage for todays monetary fund and as a designer I encourage her that is it better to use antique old coins even tokens to make it more unique but its her choice of design and was very insistent that she will have new coin jewelry set.... This is the ring and pendant of the new 10 shekels israeli coin two tone coin of silver and gold color and it turns out beautiful because of its design and some friends just order more. As an alternative for the new coins I've made myself an old coins an example to my customers and they loved it as well. Photos below are my old coin ring and Lucky Winner Token pendant. Which is better??? I think they looks great depends on the taste of the wearer the most important thing is to feel and enjoyed what you wear. Cheers, Grace

Winter time is coming and I have this awful leather jacket and leather shoes that I haven't used for years so instead of just stacking up in my closet and let time goes by I've decided to cut them to pieces in different sizes so that I can used much of them.  Making something out of it makes perfect for crafting ideas.   Here's mine an example:  Geometrical statement necklace using the upcycled leather then painted it and viola!!! Triangular handstamp earring using the upcycled leather. And more fascinating ideas that can be made into beautiful things just from an old leather garment. Till then and be Charmed always Grace:)

Its been a month that I have not written here and due to holidays and start of school last September I've missed even by saying happy holidays. Anyway I been thinking about birthstone jewelry and most but not everyone likes to wear jewelry with their birthstone.  Most precious gemstones are very expensive depends on the carats and not everyone of us can afford the luxurious jewelry that we dream of and lucky to some who can buy it easily.  For an alternative to have our fancy and real birthstone jewelry we can have it in the form of beads, chips, tumbled stone in their natural form like for example diamond which are availble now on the market the rough and uncut diamond beads untreated in their natural form and affordable to whom who would like to have it as jewelry.  aquamarine, peridot, pyrite beads Like me who dream that oneday I can own one but for now I'm a bit crazy in their natural untreated form. It always interst me when I see some women wearing bold and big necklace especially on the FTV or on celebrities wondering how heavy it might be and that inspired me to make this lovely striking bold and chunky turquoise howlite necklace.  Hues of blue and women who like bold necklace is an inspiration.  I am never a fan of big and chunky necklace but when I made one and wear it well I guess I am wrong.

Why pay a couple of dollars to a hair salon for children if you can do it yourself.  Be a personal barber to your child it will save more money especially moms who is budgeting tightly.  I cut my son's hair since he is 3 years old, his first hair cut actually I did.  He have curly and puffy hair so almost every three months I trim it or cut it short and it saves me a lot of paying to a hair dresser for the amount of $15 or more no way. As for my husband who is paying more also save him or for both of us which he goes every 2-3 weeks.    Since I bought my hair clipper Panasonic for home use three years ago a really big difference used it for my two big guys :) while going to a hair salon which will pay more.  Well cutting their hair is just courage and dealing with toddlers or older talking to them while trimming their hair will make them stay put because most of the time they are whining. It's amost two weeks that I have not log in to post something busy for shout out in facebook fan page and in etsy teams discussion thread inorder to have some more traffic SEO in my shop, making some new items for future listing, do some chores, daytime job, and all the other miscellaneous things but important to take care of. My birthday is coming up and I needed a vacation to simply freshen up and free of pressure from everyday life.  Our vcation is on next week hopefully everything is well and planned according to my iterinary things to do list because of my forgetfullness my husband always remind me to do the list.  Anyway I'm already excited with our coming up family vacation this time its something different "Desert Summer Vacation".   It will be hot but fun and hoping for beautiful photographic scene...in this vacation.  Till next time :) Charmed by, Grace

On Etsy forum I asked a critique for my shop to improve and attrract more viewers and woooo, as I receive the result I'm glad that I did asked I have a lots of changes to do like photos, tagging, more inventories to have more items choose from and especially viewers and more shoppers to browse. At times when you're at the beach having fun time with your family and while lying on the sand or even just walking along the shoreline, you've notice some beautiful treasures along the way like unusual shapes of beach rocks and pebbles, starfish, sea glass, shells and many others. My collections of heart beach stones and naturally drilled pebbles, unusual shapes beach rocks which some I altered to make it more amazing to add into vase, even ref magnets (leave me note magnets).
